Mountain Maison - a charming boutique farmhouse ski chalet
Enjoy warm log fires, delicious food and ensuite rooms in Mountain Maison, our luxurious, stylishly renovated 19th century farmhouse. Mountain Maison has a relaxed, friendly boutique hotel atmosphere and is in a lovely spot built into the hillside on the edge of Landry, an old village part of the Peisey-Vallandry ski area and in the heart of Paradiski.
Mountain Maison is a 9 bedroom ensuite luxury ski chalet, decorated in an original boutique hotel style and sleeping up to 20 adults (25 people including children, or 27 if you also rent the additional self-contained studio). Beautifully renovated to combine alpine charm with modern comforts, Mountain Maison is the perfect place to unwind and relax. It has terraced gardens from which to soak up the views on sunny afternoons – and thick stone walls, log stoves and feather duvets for those chilly winter evenings.
Owned by Samantha and Alvaro of Hidden Alps, we ensure you receive top-notch, yet friendly personal service. We can arrange your lift passes, ski lessons and equipment hire in advance - and have everything ready for you in the chalet when you arrive.
Mountain Maison offers:
Stay for three nights or more on one of our flexible ski break packages with free airport transfers, any time during the year - except New Year, February half-term and Easter (catered weeks only). We also offer great discounts for groups of 6 or more, and 10% off for Ski Club of Great Britain members.
Dog friendly ski chalet
We welcome dogs at Mountain Maison. There are lots of good walks for dogs accessible straight from the chalet, including a beautiful riverside path that's groomed in winter. There are also forest tracks for snow shoe adventures together, or you can go up the bubble lift and take a walk along the waymarked cross country ski trails before having lunch in a cosy mountain restaurant. We can provide route suggestions and maps if required. If you want to spend the day skiing and leave your dog in the chalet, we can arrange a dog walker too.
The garden is enclosed, and we provide dog beds, bowls and a welcome goodie bag of home-made dog treats. Dogs are welcome in the main areas of the house, except the dining room. We also ask that you keep them off the beds and furniture. It's just £10 per dog, per day to stay and £12 per hour for dog walking.
